Coteria for local businesses

Your shop,
in their wallet

A digital loyalty card in Apple Wallet and Google Wallet. Guests add it with one scan, and you give them a reason to come back.

First month free, no card required.

Set the reward in Coteria Studio. The card in their wallet follows.

A loyalty card that doesn't end up in a coat pocket

No app to download, no plastic, no paper. The card sits in Wallet next to boarding passes and bank cards, and updates itself when you add a stamp.

From the first scan to the next visit

  1. 01

    Design your card

Your logo, your colours, your reward. About ten minutes and no designer, and every change shows up on the phone straight away.

  2. 02

Put the QR code on the counter

Guests scan the code on the stand and the card lands in their wallet. No app store, no form, no password.

  3. 03

    Scan at the till

Staff scan the card with any phone and the stamp arrives in about two seconds. When the card fills up, the reward unlocks itself.

  4. 04

    Bring guests back

A welcome, a nudge before the reward and a note after a month away. Approve the words once; the messages send themselves.

What you get

Everything a loyalty programme needs

One tool for the card in your guest's wallet, the messages that bring them back and the view from behind the counter.

  • Apple Wallet and Google Wallet passes

A real pass on either phone — not a web page pretending to be one. Scan at the till and the card in their pocket updates in about two seconds, lock screen included.

    In the customer’s wallet

  • Stamp cards

Ten coffees, one free. The count is kept for you, and the reward unlocks itself the moment the last stamp lands.

    In the customer’s wallet

  • Points cards

Points follow what people spend, and the progress bar is drawn on the pass itself — so they can see how close they are without asking.

    In the customer’s wallet

  • Membership cards

A pass that proves they belong, for the counters that check people in rather than count purchases.

    In the customer’s wallet

  • Joining without an app

The QR on your counter opens a join page, fills in what it already knows, and drops the card into their wallet. No app store, no password.

    In the customer’s wallet

  • CampaignsPRO

Write the message once — a new blend, a quiet Tuesday, an evening event — and send it to the passes you choose.

Getting them back through the door

  • Wallet notificationsPRO

The message arrives on the lock screen, and the pass can put itself there when someone is near one of your locations.

Getting them back through the door

  • Referrals

Members invite the people they already come in with, straight from the card they are holding.

Getting them back through the door

  • Staff scanner

Any phone or tablet becomes the till-side scanner. Scan to stamp, scan again to redeem — about two seconds either way.

    Behind the counter

  • Analytics dashboard

Visits by week, member activity and how each card is doing — the questions you actually ask, on one screen.

    Behind the counter

  • Members and CSV export

The member list is searchable, and it leaves in a spreadsheet whenever you want it. The relationship belongs to your business.

    Behind the counter

  • Multiple locationsPRO

More than one shop on a single member base, with the numbers both rolled up and broken out per counter.

Questions

Do my customers need to install an app?

No. They scan the QR code, tap “Add to Apple Wallet” or “Add to Google Wallet”, and the card is on their phone. That is the whole signup.

Does it work on both iPhone and Android?

Yes. Coteria issues a real Apple Wallet pass and a real Google Wallet pass, so the card behaves natively on either phone — including updating itself when a stamp is added.

Which kinds of cards can I run?

Stamps for the ten-coffees crowd, points that track spending, or a membership card for gyms and studios. You pick per card — and you can run more than one.

What are automated messages?

Little nudges Coteria sends for you: a welcome when someone joins, a heads-up when they are one stamp away, a win-back when they have not visited in a month. You approve the wording once; the timing runs itself.

What does my staff have to do?

Open the scanner on any phone or tablet, scan the customer’s code, done. It takes about two minutes to teach and there is nothing to install on your till.

What happens if a customer changes phone?

The membership lives with the customer, not with the device. They open their join link again on the new phone and the card comes back with the stamps intact.

What about customer data?

You collect only what the programme needs, contact details are stored encrypted, and members can ask to be removed. The customer relationship belongs to your business.
